But I truly related to your comments about the indie artist's relationship to his/her means of distribution. Hear, hear! Watching the music and art-biz "Big Box" backlash (against all that is homogenized, heartless, and complacently status quo) is fascinating, and I have not lost faith that the independents will prevail! I'm a teacher who wants to be a printmaker when she grows up, and definitely still learning about the process. Do you have any suggestions on reading materials and/or workshops for someone with little to no experience with letterpress?
